When luxury is a definite option

Living a life of luxury isn’t meant for everyone, and it is definitively outside of most people’s financial reach. Even people who could potentially live like that often choose not to, as it is not everyone’s desire to live a life of ostentation. I’m not even getting into the people who do live like that, but cannot afford it.

But there are times when luxury is more than a mere luxury, it’s desirable. It’s like choosing one of the many luxury hotels around the world to spend your honeymoon. It’s once in a lifetime, right?

And lately, the faux luxury market has been evolving in many of our world’s capitals and large cities. The concept is simple: people spend short holidays in luxurious hotels, drive modern sports cars and eat in the finest restaurants. They do so for short periods of time, because this is an expensive kind of fun, but it ends up being cheaper than expected. Many travel agencies offer this as a package deal: hotel, car rental and meals, some even throwing in evening clothes rental – sometimes designer shoes and dresses for the ladies! And being a package deal, that they buy in bulk, they can offer it at cheaper prices than you would get yourself.
