    Which landmark will you visit?

The world is full of famous landmarks and each one has its own appeal. In Holland, its the windmills at Kinderdijk and in Denmark its the Little Mermaid in Copenhagen who sits upon a rock that attracts visitors year round to take her picture.  In Athens it is the Acropolis that draws the crowd and in South Dakota in the US, Mount Rushmore has its picture taken millions of times a year.

But there are other sites that are not a monument or building, they are natural.  Lock Ness in Scotland is one and Mt Fuji in Japan is another but the real natural treat is the Northern Lights in the Arctic circle. Anyone can book a vacation to view this winter time activity in the sky between the months of January and March.

This high altitude natural light display is part of a three, four or seven day Northern Lights holiday.  Kiruna Sweden will be your destination where you can choose to spend a night in an igloo and try our endurance at snow shoeing.  During your safari, you will be searching for these lights that can appear in green, red or blue and in northern latitudes, this natural effect is known as the aurora borealis.
